I feel proud of myself for not being a lazy bum because I went jogging instead. I have been noticing my weight (and waist-line) going up in recent months so I am determined to do something about it. My stupid job is making me fatter by sitting on my butt for 8 hours straight. When I was a student and working part-time I was much skinnier because I had to walk all over campus and I had time to do things like play racquettball. Though it may sound feeble, I have resolved to jog around our little block to get the mail every night. Hopefully a small, but consistent act such as this will make a positive impact on my predicament.

My family and I are having some pictures taken the first week of December by an independent photographer. Since she doesn't have her own studio, I'm looking for interesting places to have pictures taken that don't charge a photography fee.

Pro-Choice Resources, an MN pro-choice group, is looking for abortion stories to submit to Senator Al Franken to oppose the Stupak Amendment. In particular they want stories from MN women, and especially MN women who are willing to disclose their names, but any and all stories are helpful. They should contain the following information:

- The circumstances surrounding your pregnancy (your age, employment status, relationship status etc.)
- Why abortion was the right choice for you
- The type of medical insurance you had or did not have (and if it did or did not cover abortion)
- Why abortion care is an essential part of women’s healthcare and why it should be paid for by all insurance companies

(If abortion wasn't the right choice for you, but you are still glad you had that choice, you could still submit your story.)

If you could help out, I know PCR would really appreciate it. Women who have had abortions should and must be heard on this issue.
